Practical study for preparing ozonated water using diffuser and effects of temperature and treatment time

In this study the variation of dissolved ozone in deionized water was investigated using real-time measurement technique. The gas generated by a homemade coaxial dielectric barrier discharge and injected into bottom column via bubbler. values concentration were measured UV absorption spectra obtained two quartz windows mounted inside column. results showed fast increasing at first 3 min then, reaches to an approximately constant value which depends on temperature phase concentration. highest about 3.5 ppm lowest (2ºC) when input contains 2500 ozone. measurements also continued after turning off bubbler decreasing monitored. An approximate exponential decay observed whose gradient did not show any meaningful dependency treatment time water.
